Studio introduction
Private, one-to-one Pilates, led by a registered osteopath and built entirely around you. At the heart of the studio is the Reformer. This is the most versatile piece of Pilates equipment ever designed, supported by a range of additional, specialist apparatus that makes every session precise, progressive and tailored to the body in front of it.
This isn’t exercise for its own sake. It’s movement with purpose: building the strength, mobility and control that help you move well, feel capable, and stay ahead of the aches and injuries that tend to creep in over the years. Whatever your age and whatever your starting point, the work meets you exactly where you are.
Meet the equipment
1
Reformer — the heart of the studio
The Reformer is where most sessions begin and end, and for good reason. Its sliding carriage and adjustable spring resistance let movement be made gentler or more challenging in an instant — supporting the joints while still building genuine, functional strength.
2
Cadillac (Trapeze Table)
A tall, versatile frame fitted with bars, springs and straps, the Cadillac can support, assist or challenge in equal measure. It’s ideal for opening tight areas, restoring range of movement and working safely through a wide spectrum of ability — from gentle, supported mobility work to stronger, more dynamic exercises.
3
Wunda Chair
Compact but deceptively demanding, the Wunda Chair builds strength, balance and control through the whole body. Its smaller surface asks more of your stability, making it excellent for sharpening coordination and developing the kind of functional strength that carries directly into everyday movement.
4
Ladder Barrel
Designed to open the spine and improve extension and flexibility, the Ladder Barrel is a natural antidote to a life spent hunched over desks and devices. It helps restore healthy posture, mobilise the upper back and stretch out the front of the body, leaving you taller, looser and more comfortable.
5
Supporting small props
Alongside the larger apparatus, a range of smaller tools — the Magic Circle (Pilates ring), resistance bands, stability balls, hand weights and foot correctors — is used to fine-tune each session. They target the deep stabilising muscles, sharpen alignment, and let the challenge be dialled up or down to the finest degree, so every exercise lands at exactly the right level.
Movement for every stage of life
Strong, controlled movement matters at every age
The studio is built to support the body through all stages.
In the active years, it lays down solid foundations: good technique, deep core strength and the body awareness that helps prevent injury in sport and everyday life. Through the desk-bound decades, it counters the toll of long hours sitting, easing stiff necks, tight hips and aching backs, and rebuilding the posture and mobility that a screen-bound day quietly erodes. Into midlife, as the body begins to change, it helps maintain strength and flexibility and keeps the first small niggles from becoming lasting problems. And in later life, it supports mobility, balance and confidence, helping you stay strong, steady and independent, and looking after bone and joint health along the way.
The thread running through all of it is the same: movement as a long-term investment in how the body feels, moves and performs, for years to come.
